Slack Sign-In & Status Synchronization in Pult

Regular users may be asked to grant app permissions every time they use “Sign in with Slack”. This is related to the Slack status sync. This article shows admins how to prevent this with a one-time setup.
1. Integrations
In the PULT dashboard, go to Settings → General → Integrations.
2. Slack settings
On the Slack card, click Settings.
3. Admin Token Connection
Under Admin Token Connection, click Connect Slack Admin and authorise the Slack app. This installs the required Slack permissions once per workspace, so PULT can set the Slack status for all users without each user having to authenticate individually.
⚠ Important: The Slack Workspace Primary Owner should connect this token. Other admins' tokens cannot edit the profiles of Workspace Owners, so other Owners' statuses will only sync if the Primary Owner authorises here.
4. User Status Sync
Turn on User Status Sync if Slack statuses should be synchronised with PULT. If this option is turned off, no additional permissions are required.
After the setup
Users can sign in easily with “Sign in with Slack”.
App permissions are no longer requested at every login.

Do I have to repeat the setup?
No, the admin token is connected once per Slack workspace.
