Disabling Slack Status Sync in PULT

PULT can show your workplace selection as your Slack status. If you prefer to manage your Slack status yourself, you can switch the sync off in your personal settings. This article shows you how.

1. Open your settings

In the PULT web app, click your profile picture in the top right corner and select Settings.

2. Switch off the Slack status sync

In the Slack Integration section, switch off Enable Slack status sync. The change is applied right away.

From now on, PULT no longer updates your Slack status – you set it manually in Slack.

Frequently asked questions

I don’t see the Slack section in my settings.

The section is only shown if your company has connected Slack to PULT. Please ask your PULT admin.

The status sync doesn’t work although it is switched on.

Sign out of PULT and sign in again. PULT only sets the status if no other status is shown in Slack.
