Recurring Parking Bookings (Default Parking Spot)

With recurring parking bookings, users automatically reserve a parking spot on fixed days of the week. This article explains how users set them up in the PULT web app, how to release a spot on a single day and how admins can restrict the feature.

Set up recurring parking bookings

In the PULT web app, click your profile at the top right and select Settings.
Scroll down to Recurring Parking Bookings.
Use the toggle at the top right of the section to choose between Everyday and Weekdays.
Select the days you want your parking spot to be booked (e.g. Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
Click + Add Date Range and select a start and end date in the calendar. You can add several date ranges. To remove one, click the ✕ next to it.

Your parking spot is now reserved automatically on the selected days within the chosen date ranges.

Release your spot on a single day

If you are not coming to the office on one of these days, cancel the booking for that day with a double click. The spot is then available to your colleagues again.

Admin settings

Recurring parking bookings must first be enabled for your organization (see How to Enable Recurring Parking Bookings). You can then restrict them per policy group: in the PULT dashboard, go to Settings → Employees → Policy Groups and open the policy group.

1. Disable recurring parking bookings

Tick this box if the members of the policy group should not be able to set up recurring parking bookings. Then click Save at the bottom of the policy group.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between recurring desk and recurring parking bookings?

Both work the same way and are set up in your profile settings. One reserves your desk, the other your parking spot.

Do recurring parking bookings count towards capacity?

Yes. They occupy a parking spot just like a regular booking.

What happens when an employee leaves the company?

An admin should remove the recurring booking when offboarding the employee. Otherwise, the spot stays reserved.

Can I reserve more than one parking spot?

Yes, if your policy group allows more than one parking spot booking per day.

How long can a date range be?

Each date range can be up to one year (less than 366 days). For longer periods, add another date range.
