Policy Settings

This article explains how to create and manage Policy Settings in the Pult app.

  1. Log in to the Pult App

  2. In the dashboard, open Settings and then navigate to People

  3. Open the Policy Settings

  4. Click on Create Policy Group

General Settings

  • Policy group name
    Assign a clear and unique name for easier identification.

Desk Booking Window

  • Define how many days in advance the selected users or groups are allowed to book a desk.

Parking Booking Window

  • Define how many days in advance the selected users or groups are allowed to book a parking space.

  • Optionally, you can also define maximum parking bookings per day.

Maximum Parking Bookings per Day

  • Empty field: No limit – members of the policy group can book an unlimited number of parking spaces.

  • Example: “6”
    All members of this policy group together can book a maximum of 6 parking spaces per day. This limit applies across the entire group and all parking areas, not per individual user.

Default Workplace Selection

  • Define whether the selected users or groups are not allowed to use the default desk selection.

Important Note on Policies

Policy settings always override global company settings.
This means that for users or groups assigned to a policy, only the rules defined in that policy apply, even if they differ from the company-wide settings.

  1. Add users or groups to ensure that the policy applies only to the selected members.

  1. Configure the desired settings and click Save.

  1. Your new policy group is now created and active.
