Integrations in PULT – Overview

This article gives admins an overview of all integrations in PULT: what each one does, which data is synchronised automatically and what you need to set it up. For every integration, you find a step-by-step guide linked below.

Available integrations

  • Google Workspace (Google Calendar, meeting rooms, Directory Sync)

  • Microsoft (Entra ID / Azure AD, Outlook, meeting rooms)

  • Microsoft Teams

  • Slack

  • HR systems: Personio (direct or via Kombo), HiBob, BambooHR, Factorial, Humaans, CharlieHR, HR works, Kallidus and other systems via Kombo (on request)

  • Okta (SSO & Okta Sync)

In the PULT dashboard, you find all integrations under Settings → Integrations.

Google Workspace

What it does

  • Synchronise Google Calendars

  • Connect and book meeting rooms

  • Sign in to PULT with Sign in with Google

  • Synchronise users and groups with the Google Workspace Directory Sync

  • Meeting rooms that are set up as resources in Google

  • Users and groups – only with the Directory Sync. Without it, a user account is created when someone signs in with Google for the first time.

Requirements

  • Google Workspace admin access (Security Admin role)

  • Domain-wide delegation for the PULT app

Microsoft (Entra ID / Azure AD & Outlook)

Available for cloud-based or hybrid Microsoft environments.

What it does

  • Synchronise employees automatically (optionally only selected groups)

  • Synchronise groups

  • Connect meeting rooms for room booking

  • Show PULT bookings (office, home office etc.) in Outlook calendars

  • Users from Entra ID

  • Groups (all or selected)

  • Rooms from Exchange / Outlook

Requirements

  • Microsoft admin account with access to Entra ID

  • For rooms: Exchange admin role

Microsoft Teams

What it does

  • Use PULT as an app in Microsoft Teams

  • Create bookings directly in Teams

  • Receive chat notifications and reminders

Created automatically

  • Nothing – Teams uses the existing PULT users and groups.

Requirements

  • Active Microsoft integration

  • Access to the Microsoft Teams admin center

Slack

What it does

  • Sign in to PULT with Slack

  • Synchronise the Slack status automatically (optional)

  • Send reminders and notifications in Slack

Created automatically

  • Users of the Slack workspace (no groups)

Requirements

  • Slack admin rights to add apps

  • One-time authorisation by a PULT admin

HR systems (Personio, HiBob & more via Kombo)

What it does

  • Synchronise employees, teams and positions

  • Synchronise absences – e.g. vacation, sick leave, home office

  • Via Kombo: extended absence types (e.g. parental leave, business travel) and custom mappings

  • Teams / departments

  • Users are not created – users who leave are archived

Requirements

  • Admin rights in the HR system

  • Personio direct: API credentials (Client ID & Client Secret)

  • Via Kombo: a service user and permission groups in the HR system

Okta

What it does

  • Sign in to PULT with Okta (SSO) – no separate PULT password

  • Okta Sync: synchronise users from selected Okta groups

  • With Okta Sync: users from the selected groups. Users who are no longer included are archived.

Frequently asked questions

Who can set up integrations?

Only PULT admins. Most integrations also need an admin of the connected system, e.g. your Microsoft or Google admin.

Does PULT change data in our other systems?

No. PULT reads data from the connected systems but does not write user or HR data back. The exception is calendar entries, e.g. when PULT bookings are shown in Outlook.

How often is data synchronised?

Regularly and automatically. For some integrations you can also start a sync manually in the integration settings.

Our tool is not listed. What can we do?

Contact our support team – we are happy to check your setup with you. Many HR systems can be connected via Kombo on request.
